Why You Should Document Your Small Wins

How Tracking Minor Achievements Creates Major Confidence

Welcome to Man Morning, a weekly hit of truth, tools, and momentum for men who want to avoid the drift and live on purpose.

Most men forget their wins.

Not the big ones.

We remember the job offer, the round of applause, or the deal.

I’m talking about the daily ones.

The stuff that’s easy to overlook:

  • The one-on-one time with your kid

  • The draft of the proposal you completed

  • The decision you’ve been avoiding that you finally made

  • Cleaning that cluttered shelf in the garage

  • Reading 10 pages of a book

That’s why I started writing my daily wins down.

Every day.

It’s part of The 1-Day Method and what I track in my planner - 3 wins, big or small, personal or professional.

Sometimes I write them down throughout the day.

Other times, I close the night by remembering what went well.

It changes how I see myself.

It helps me track momentum.

It boosts my confidence.

And on the hard days, it reminds me that I still showed up.

A few wins from this past week:

  • Booked an international family trip. After losing our home in a wildfire earlier this year, this will be our first big adventure in quite some time to a country where we don’t speak the language.

  • Hired a web development firm to update my personal website. Been putting this off. Feels good to move forward.

  • Took my daughter roller skating around the neighborhood. No phones. Just time together. It was great.

  • Locked in a few Power Sessions with new clients. Love the power of having a clear beginning, middle, and end with my coaching work.

  • Had a talk with a good buddy I haven’t spoke to in a bit (Connect is part of The 1-Day Method)

You’re stacking wins.

Don’t forget them.

Write them down.

Let them remind you who you are.

Respond to this email with a win from your week.
