Why Your 40s Are the Smartest Time To Make Bold Moves

Forget what they told you. Your experience, scars, and instincts make now the perfect time to go all in.

Welcome to Man Morning, a weekly check-in for men who lead at work, at home, and in life

They say your whole life depends on how much risk you take between 20 and 35.

This is straight up nonsense.

The most gangster moves often come later.

Your 40s aren't about playing it safe.

They're about playing it smart.

Don’t forget, you've got experience now.

You've got scars.

You've got a sharper gut.

You've got the track record.

When you combine all that with some of the courage you had at 25 that's a lethal combo in the absolute best way.

I see this with the men I coach all the time.

Guys who think their window has closed.

Who've bought into the story that big moves are for the young fellas.

But here's what they're missing:

At 25, you had energy but no wisdom.

At 45, you have both if you choose to use them.

At 25, you took risks because you didn't know better.

At 45, you can take smart risks because you know exactly what you're doing.

At 25, you had nothing to lose.

At 45, you have everything to leverage.

The difference between reckless and calculated isn't age.

It's information.

And you've got more of that now than you've ever had (and I haven’t even mentioned harnessing A.I.).

You don't need to be 25 again.

You just need to stop acting like your best days are behind you.

One of the best ways to regain this mindset is by using a proven system.

The kind that turns experience into action instead of caution.

Let your 40s be the years you double down on what matters, what's yours, and what you've been putting off.

It's not too late. It's perfect timing.

You're not starting over.

You're starting forward.
