Your Silence Is Costing You Trust
Why Conviction Attracts Respect Even From Those Who Disagree
Welcome to Man Morning, a weekly newsletter where I share what’s working.

People sense when you're hiding.
When you're playing it safe.
When you're afraid to stand.
They might not say it.
But they feel it.
And they stop trusting you.
The Middle Ground Trap
During my journalist days, I lived in the middle.
Always asking questions.
Never taking sides.
Forever hedging.
It felt professional.
It felt safe.
When you hedge, you stop trusting yourself.
You play different versions.
You shift with the crowd.
It's exhausting.
And everyone sees through it anyway.
The Truth About Trust
There's a time for learning.
A time for listening.
And a time for planting your flag.
People respect what you stand for.
Even when they disagree.
What Standing Looks Like
Everyone says Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie.
Great.
I say Ice Cube, Andre 3000, Black Thought (honorable mention: E-40).
We don't have to agree.
My opinion isn't better.
But it's mine.
And I'll own it.
Why This Matters
Conviction creates clarity.
Clarity builds trust.
Trust opens doors.
Not because you're right.
But because you're real.
Your Move
Have an opinion.
Take your stand.
While others fit in,
Stand apart.
Not to be different.
But to be yourself.
