This is Man Morning.

Every week I share lessons, stories, and insights to help us get better.

As a husband, father, and professional - this is personal.

Thanks for being here.

Before we begin, something to think about:

“When people talk about traveling to the past, they worry about radically changing the present by doing something small, but barely anyone in the present really thinks that they can radically change the future by doing something small.”

Wise Words.

“People either survive in the jungle or exist in the zoo. Few recognize the significance of the paradoxical reconciliation of the two.”

Beat Bad Habits.

Beating bad habits like drinking, smoking, pørn, too much TV, or putting things off can be tough.

But you don't have to fix everything at once

Instead, focus on winning today.

The 'Not Today’ Idea

Saying "I'll never do this again" is tough.

Let's make it easier.

Instead say, "Not today."

You might not know about tomorrow, but you can handle today.

This way, fixing bad habits feels doable.

How to Win Today

Here are five easy steps:

1. Move: Start your day with a sweat. It's good for you, releases endorphins, and helps you avoid bad habits.

2. Connect: Have a chat with a friend or family member every day. It feels good and gives you strength.

3. Learn: Every day, grow. Read a bit, listen to a podcast, or try a new hobby. Learning keeps your mind off bad habits.

4. Unplug: Spend some time without screens. It helps you relax, think better, and problem solve.

5. Complete: Pick something to finish. It could be a small job at work or cleaning your shed. Finishing things feels great.

Keep Going

When you win each day, those days turn into weeks, then months, and soon, you've changed your life.

It's not just about stopping what's bad.

It's about making room for what's good.

Today’s Win, Tomorrow's Success

Remember, a great life starts by having a great day.

Win today, and you're on your way to a life where bad habits don't fit anymore, and good things happen.

And when in doubt simply say, “Not today.”
