☄️ Think Long, Act Fast
"A paradox of life is that the greatest returns come in the long-term, but the opportunity cost of moving slowly is huge.
Long-term thinking is not slow acting.
Act fast on things that compound. Never let a day pass without doing something that will benefit you in a decade."
🪩 The Man Morning Question
At the beginning of every in-person Man Morning meetup, a question or statement is shared to structure the conversation.
For you to consider this week:
It’s impossible to be great at the things you have to try to be good at. Get better at what you’re best at.
When you look over your life, how have you experienced this professionally or personally?
Share your answer with your own Man Morning crew, with a trusted friend, or in your journal.
You can even respond to this email and share your answer.
💼 Take This Job and Love It
Throughout history, artists like Mozart, Pablo Picasso, and Leonardo da Vinci were able to create some of the most beautiful pieces of art in the world because of the support of benefactors.
Whether patrons or organizations, benefactors provided artists with the financial support, resources, and inspiration they needed to bring their creative visions to life.
Fast forward to present day, and creators like bloggers, podcasters, writers, and musicians also have access to a wide range of benefactors who support their work.
These include crowdfunding websites, artist retreats, as well as scholarships and grants established by various foundations.
Now what if I told you that you have a benefactor in your life already?
What is it? Your 9 to 5 job.
Thinking of your job as a benefactor can completely transform the way you view your career.
When you start to see your job as your benefactor - a means to support your creative and entrepreneurial endeavors with financial support and resources - you’ll find a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment in your work.
Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that your “dream job” is simply one that you love.
Instead, redefine your idea of a “dream job” as one that enables you to do what you love.
This powerful shift in perspective can help you show up for work with enthusiasm and a new focus.
Your job may not be perfect (no job is), but it's a valuable tool that can lead you to success and fulfillment.
🕹️ Single and Ready To… Not Be Bothered
A whopping 63% of American guys aged 18-29 are single, while only 34% of women are flying solo.
The trend continues as men get older.
By the time they hit 30 to 49, a quarter of men are still single or waking up next to someone they won’t call their boo.
But don't feel too sorry for these bachelors.
They say they’re perfectly happy being single, either because they're not interested in dating or they just love the freedom that comes with being a lone wolf.
One single 28-year old high-school teacher said, “Dates feel more like job interviews now. Much more like ‘What can you do for me and where is this going?'”

🆘 5 Lessons From Failing Marriages (And How To Fix Them)
Are you, or a man you know, in a failing marriage?
If so, according to a viral Twitter thread, they have a 100% chance of experiencing these 5 issues. They:
No longer believe they need what their wife offers.
Have chosen to no longer find their wife sexually attractive. (small vices, big consequences)
Aren't investing their lives into anything other than their work.
Refuse to take genuine responsibility for their problems.
All believe in the inverted law of happiness.
If your marriage is sinking and you don't want to end up under water, here’s how to begin to turn things around.
Remain grateful for your wife
Make her the sole focus of your desire
