In the event of your death, social media platforms allow you to choose someone to act as your legacy contact.

This means you're entrusted to care for their profile after they die and their account is memorialized.

Receiving an email alerting you that you’ve been chosen as a legacy contact can be alarming.

For some this reality creates fear:

“Oh no! I’m going to die! How can I do anything when it’s all gonna end?! Might as well watch Netflix.”

For others this realization creates freedom:

“Oh no! I’m going to die! I might as well have a frickin’ blast while I’m here and go for broke. Where can I find a jet ski to ride?”

First, the day you were born.

Second, the day you gave up.

Third, the day you died.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

Every now and then a man needs a reminder to start living a life worth living.

Hopefully this doesn’t require a life-changing event.

A legacy is built minute by minute. Hour by hour. Day after day.

Now go find a jet ski to ride.
