5️⃣ YOUR TOP 5

Having a great day shouldn’t happen by accident.

The secret is capturing data and paying close attention to what is (and isn’t) happening on your good days.

This data will allow you to identify your Top 5 - the 5 essential elements that lead to having a good day.

Your Top 5 could look like this:

💦 Sweat: Just 30 minutes of a moderate-intensity workout can lower the risk of premature death and many diseases.

🚶 No Tech Walk: Spend 30 minutes walking with no technology to boost creative thinking by an average of 60%.

🤝 Connect: Have a call or meet for coffee with one of the 5 men on your team to lower depression and boost your immune system.

🎓 Learn: Learn something new every day from books, classes, podcasts, or newsletters. This keeps brain cells working at optimal levels and can slow memory decline as you age.

Finish: Regularly finishing things like home improvement projects, puzzles or hobbies and sporting events can build confidence and self-esteem.

Start testing and identify your Top 5.

Then, commit to doing them every day - preferably before a workday begins.

💬 SMART WORDS

📖 WHAT WE’RE READING

Author Richard V. Reeves “tackles the complex and urgent crisis of boyhood and manhood.”

The book explains how changes over the last few decades have led to a great deal of men losing ground in the family, the workplace, and the classroom.

Though sobering, the book offers clear solutions to help men get back on track.

That's it for today. Spread the love and share this issue.
